These Terms govern your use of the Enuma Sky mobile application and website (collectively, "the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them.
The short version: Enuma Sky is an entertainment and self-reflection tool. The planetary calculations are astronomically accurate, but astrology is not an empirically validated science. Nothing in the app is advice — medical, legal, financial, or otherwise. Use it thoughtfully.
1. What Enuma Sky is
Enuma Sky computes birth charts using NASA JPL's DE440s ephemeris — a high-precision planetary dataset. Those positions are then interpreted in plain language by an AI model (Google Gemini). The result is presented for entertainment and personal reflection only.
The astronomical calculations are deterministic and accurate. The astrological interpretations that follow are not scientific predictions. Astrology is not an empirically validated science. Nothing the app produces should be treated as a statement of fact about your life, your future, or your character.
2. Not professional advice
The Service does not provide — and is not a substitute for — any of the following:
- Medical or mental health advice or diagnosis
- Legal advice
- Financial or investment advice
- Relationship or career counselling
- Any other form of professional advice
If you are facing a health concern, a legal problem, a financial decision, or a personal crisis, please consult a qualified professional. Do not rely on astrological content to make significant life decisions.
3. AI-generated content
Interpretations in the app are generated by Google Gemini. We run a Grounding Engine that checks AI output against your actual computed chart before showing it to you, and flags unsupported claims. However, AI-generated content can still contain errors, omissions, or statements that are inaccurate or inapplicable to you.
You are responsible for how you interpret and act on the content you receive.
4. Crisis and safety
If a conversation in the app shows signs of self-harm, suicidal ideation, or serious emotional distress, the app will stop producing astrological content and will instead display contact information for crisis support services, including Tele-MANAS (14416) and iCall (9152987821).
This feature is a safety measure, not a clinical intervention. If you are in immediate danger, call emergency services.
5. Your account
You may use the app without creating an account. If you create one:
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You must provide accurate information. We may suspend accounts that contain false information.
- You may delete your account at any time by writing to us at enumasky.support@gmail.com. See our Account Deletion page for details.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract data from the Service
- Use the Service to generate content intended to deceive, harass, or harm any person
- Circumvent any security or access control measure
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without our written permission
7. Intellectual property
All content, design, code, and branding in the Service are owned by Enuma Sky or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without permission.
The underlying ephemeris data (DE440s) is a public-domain dataset produced by NASA JPL. The Skyfield library used to access it is MIT-licensed. Our use of these resources does not imply endorsement by NASA or JPL.
8. Free and Pro tiers
Core features — your birth chart, Panchang, the 30-chapter course, tarot, and kundli matching — are free and will remain free. The Pro tier unlocks unlimited AI conversation. Pricing, features, and availability may change; we will communicate material changes in advance.
Payments are processed by third-party providers (Google Play). We do not store your payment details.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Enuma Sky and its developers are not liable for any loss, harm, or damage arising from your use of the Service — including, without limitation, decisions made based on astrological content, AI errors, or service downtime.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
